How does the platform inform me if my lot has not been sold because the reserve price was not met

If a reserve price was used and the highest bid does not reach it, the platform can close the auction on a no-sale and notify the parties.

Reserve not met

The system can issue a no-sale message stating that the reserve price was not reached.
This protects the seller from being forced to sell below the chosen reserve amount.
Because the reserve may be hidden, buyers only learn the outcome once the auction closes.

What the seller should do

Decide whether to relist the lot, change the reserve, or move the item to a different sales format.
Keep any relisted description and pricing clear so buyers understand the new opportunity.
