Critical steps
Registration happens in two parts: the public signup creates the profile, and the profile workspace collects the full verification pack before trading access is approved.
- Open the public signup page and choose `seller` or `both` in Role selection, then choose `Personal` as the profile type.
- Complete the basic details, contact details, username, password, and profile name fields exactly as you want the profile to be recorded.
- Send the WhatsApp OTP to the number you registered and complete OTP verification before final submission.
- Accept the platform terms, complete the security check, and submit the first-stage signup form.
- Open the personal profile workspace, complete the seller registration questions, and answer every compliance question that applies to your activity.
- Upload all required documents in clear, readable format and submit the registration pack for review.
Documents to prepare
- South African ID or passport document.
- Proof of residential address.
- Bank account confirmation letter for seller payouts.
- If you are VAT registered, upload the VAT registration document.
- If your goods or activity require a permit, keep the seller permit or regulatory approval ready.
- If the category later asks for extra compliance, only trade after those supporting documents have been accepted.
How registration notifications work
- A WhatsApp OTP is sent to the mobile number you entered on the signup form.
- After OTP verification, the final consent and submission step becomes available.
- A confirmation email is sent to the registered email address and the profile is only activated after that email is confirmed.
- When you submit the full registration pack, the platform can send a submission received email while the registry reviews your documents.
- Approval or rejection feedback can be sent by email, WhatsApp, and push notification, and rejected profiles can be corrected and resubmitted.
